  No bull , Wrights Tender Meats is worthy of more than 5 stars. Jamie , Stacey , Damo & the team offer the epitome of excellence. I have been a loyal customer for many , many years and cannot emphasise how good their range of products, service & culinary satisfaction truly is . Exceptional choices of meat , chicken , lamb cuts plus the freshest gourmet sausages , boerewors, burger patties, stir fry combinations , Bacon, ham etc etc. And an amazing taste revelation is the incredible home made pies that consist of Watervale meat and beyond words . Do yourself a favour and check out this well above average store , quality always trumps quantity & your money will be well spent because as the time old adage says “ you get what you pay for “ Also worth noting these folks do catering as well . Storefront looks awesome since the refurbishment too . Jamie - don’t change a thing Mate 🏅 ** I purchased a succulent family size Watervale chunky beef pie last Monday and also a mouth watering New York steak plus half a kilo of the excellent beef teriyaki stir fry mix . The pies are made within the store and believe me , every bite is pure enjoyment. Perfectly stewed Cowra beef or lamb without any filler or tough bits and the pastry is to die for . Awesome indeed October 2025 - still the best butcher in the hills & my stop every Monday arvo , the Warnervale beef pies 🥧 are just amazing , new gravy mix is the best ever

  Hi guys, I'm the guy who bought the 2kg pack of full size Chicken, spinach & pine nut sausages yesterday (Sat)... they are absolutely delicious, soft, moist & easier to cook than the thin version. We'll be back for more... Allister

  There are a lot of false reviews on this shop. Make sure you do your own investigations. The steaks and sausages have been consistently of good quality, however the Christmas ham we recently purchased was below poor. It's interesting that the ham had no identifying labels, which indicates to me that it was known this was not something to be proud of. I get the distinct impression cost-cutting is a priority for them.

  The beef mince that we purchased from you today (Friday 20th March) was expired. Only after putting it into the hot fry pan did the foul smell fill the kitchen. I had to throw it out. Please be sure that you turn over your meat regularly so that expired meat isn’t being sold to your loyal customers. You guys are usually the best butcher in the hills district.
