This a real old fashioned butchers shop. terrific cuts. They have a consistent bargain on chicken schnitzel - that's the reason I keep going back. Don't change that boys 🙂. The pics below are for a single schnitzel - they sell 5 for $10 - amazing!

Very friendly service, although it's really all about the meat. Their red meat all comes from Cowra, and is grass-fed. All of their offal is fresh, not frozen, and arrives on Monday morning. All sausages are gluten-free, and the chicken is free-roam.

Steak and rissoles have been good. Chicken schnitzels are a miss. Bought 5 and 3/5 were off.

Would give 0 stars if I could! Worst butcher in Canberra with the worst customer service and most expensive meat. Every time I’ve tried to give them another go they show me why i prefer to travel to the other side of Canberra for quality meat! I’ve tried twice to get some marrow bones cut in the middle (to fit them in my oven) and both times the person serving me can’t actually use the blade? I don’t understand why people working there haven’t been taught to use the machinery. And then I was told to ‘get lost’ when I voiced my frustration at always being told the butcher wasn’t there right now to do it…

NEVER, NEVER AGAIN! The quality of meat was not just disapponting but the steak went off within 48hrs of purchase, and it was not a cheap cut either. The 1.5kg of chicken breasts shrank to half their size and more than a cup of water was left in the roasting dish. I froze the chicken schnitzels (was told it's okay to do by the person who served me) and thawed just a couple of days later, only to find they're so close to turning off we didn't want to risk eating them. This butcher won't be getting any further purchases from me, that's for sure.
