  Paragon Meats sets the bar incredibly high for butchers in Melbourne. The quality is unmatched — everything is beautifully fresh, top-grade, and prepared with real attention to detail. You can genuinely taste the difference. It’s also a fantastic family-run business, which really shows in the care and passion they put into every cut. What really makes it stand out is the team — easily the best staff around. They’re always warm, approachable, and full of great advice, whether you’re after the perfect cut or tips to cook it just right. After coming here, it’s hard to settle for anything less.   Paragon Meats is hands down the best butcher in Melbourne. The quality of the meat is amazing - always fresh, premium, and perfectly prepared. You can tell they genuinely care about what they do. The team is always so friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and always happy to give cooking tips or recommendations (which never miss). Once you shop here, you won’t go anywhere else. Highly recommend to anyone who appreciates quality meat and amazing service. Absolute local gem 🙌🏼🥩

  Never going back. Customer service the worst. One staff member too busy talking to friends and the other just stood there saying nothing. No welcome or offer to serve. I came in at 11am so you would think they would have all product prepared for sale. Asked for lamb koftas and told to come back in 45 minutes. As if it takes that long to make and at 11am these should have been available. To make it worse after this the staff member went to walk off, yet I wanted to order something else. Ended up ordering the continental sausages. Staff can't count, I asked for six and was given eight. They were extremely fatty and disgusting in taste. Tip to staff and owner: your customers are keeping you open so you should work on your poor service skills. How you cannot have key items available by 11am is unacceptable. I will never shop here again and will be advising all family, friends and anyone reading this avoid this butcher at all costs. Bad service, rude staff, bad food, very expensive.
