  Had a great spit for Christmas Day with 5kg each of the lamb and chicken gyros. Note to self....pick up a few days in advance of their last day, as even though I had a pre-order, I lined up for 2.2 hours on the Saturday prior to Christmas to pick up my order. Would suggest having staff go down the line to take payments and bring out orders. Still 5 stars though as the meat is always amazing, as well as the pita 👌

  Absolutely Sublime Gyro Meats! Picked up the chicken, pork, and lamb gyro products from Metaxas Meats, and cooked them over charcoal — absolutely sublime! The flavour, tenderness, and aroma were outstanding, just like something straight out of a Greek taverna. Each cut cooked beautifully, juicy and perfectly seasoned. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into their products. Highly recommend to anyone who loves authentic, top-quality gyro meat — these guys are the real deal!

  Ordered a mix of lamb and chicken gyros, absolutely delicious and was packed well on the rod, very minimal loose pieces as it cooked. Ordered 2 times now, will be back. Prices are reasonable also.

  Finally tried them for the first time 3 weeks ago after recommendations from many friends for a long time. Wow, loved the chicken and pork gyros 😋 on our new bbq rotisserie. Bought some more a couple of days ago for another feed, yum. Service was also fantastic, the lady at the counter was so helpful with instructions of how to cook the meat. Thank you

  Was recommended metaxxas by our Greek friend years ago and have kept going back ever since. Rita is fantastic through the ordering process and the meat is always sensational
