Paddy’s Meats is a gem in Bundoora Square, always well-stocked with the freshest, highest-quality meats, all carefully prepared by the owner. You can tell there’s real pride and craftsmanship in everything they do. They also have an amazing range of premium Irish products, including the best selection of traditional black and white pudding I’ve found in Australia, perfect for a traditional Irish breakfast! It’s so nice to have a local butcher that not only provides top-quality meat but also has that warm, friendly, old-fashioned service that’s hard to find these days. You can feel the heart that goes into this business. Friendly service, great value, and top-quality products, I highly recommend this wonderful local business.

Great butcher, with great customer service and top produce. Paddy's prices are very competitive for top rated produce. I've used Paddy's butchers for nearly ten years now and the Bigman and his team have never let me down. I would highly recommend Paddy's Meats.

Paddys meats in my opinion is a 10/10 butcher, some meats are a little more on the pricey side but at paddys you pay for quality and freshness. I tried some of the mild Italian sausage and the cider sausage and ny goodness they where amazing and so juicy. Paddy also prepares a variety of other cuts for example my wife's favourite beef schnitzel. Again everything was so fresh you can tell hes a quality butcher. I also noticed the store was stocked with a variety of uk snacks and other little things like black and white pudding sausages, apple Pies and apple crumbles theres so much to choose from. 10/10 will be back soon.

I bought a collection of meats (~$80) and had a very bad experience. This included beef and pork. When I got home and opened the beef I realised that the used by date was on the 01 September 2026. The day I bought it was the 13th. It was two weeks over the used by date. I rang up and they said it was probably a labeling error as it was absurdly out of date. I opened it up and it smelt horrid and spoilt. It was definitely not a labeling mistake. I didn’t eat this. I also bought a huge chunk of pork for a slow cook with ample expiry date and cooked it on the day of purchase. Being quite inexperienced with pork, whilst it smelt pretty bad, because it still had a lot of expiry date I just washed it and cooked it. I ate it for 3 days in a row and fell very ill eating it by the end. I got progressively worse and should I have known I was going to be this ill by the end of it I would not have consumed it. I was definitely food poisoned by the pork as I had not eaten anything else but boiled vegetables to go with the pork. I would not be purchasing any produce from Paddy’s Meats again, out of fear that I might be food poisoned. Quite a disappointing experience as I really wanted to try and shop local.

Great selection & lovely taste of home with Dennys sausages, potato cakes, Club orange, McDonald's curry sauce etc Lots of comments here about rudeness but Paddy couldn't have been nicer behind the counter.
