Just moved to the area and searching for a new butcher. Aus Meat Co is the first butcher we’ve tried and no need to look anywhere else. Mince, steak, chicken, lamb shanks, chuck steak, sausages + more are all such great quality at a really reasonable price. Have experienced really friendly staff each time too. We’ve found our new local :)

This used to be our go-to local butcher for years. However, the quality in meat has been extremely poor the past couple of years under new ownership, particularly the beef. Had an issue with their lamb skewers once as well that just did not taste right and all ended up in the bin. Very disappointing to see this once local favourite go completely downhill.

Very concerning experience today. One of your drivers swerved directly into my lane without warning, forcing me to brake hard to avoid a collision. It was an extremely dangerous situation and could easily have resulted in a serious accident. I hope the company reviews its driver training and safety procedures, as this kind of driving puts other road users at risk. 19 June eastern freeway. Please contact me for dashcam footage. I will send it to authorities.

I visited the Australian Meat Company on Monday, November 11, 2024, at 10:38 am, and had a disappointing experience. An elderly lady working there was extremely rude when interacting with us. We simply asked about cuts of beef with both lean meat and fat, and she seemed irritated and responded in a very unpleasant manner. We quickly decided to make our purchase without asking more questions to avoid further discomfort. When it came time to pay, her card machine kept malfunctioning, and she suggested several times that our card didn’t have enough funds, which was incorrect. Only after switching to a different machine were we able to complete the payment smoothly. This experience left us feeling disrespected and frustrated, and we hope this store can improve its customer service to avoid similar issues for others in the future.
