I’ve been buying dog bones, (beef neck bones recently) from here since my border collie puppy was ten weeks old. She’s now nine and half months and the order that I received last week was so dreadful that it made her sick. When I took them back yesterday, not for a refund but just so they could see for themselves, the butcher who had ordered them for me, just said, ‘all good’ when it was actually incredibly disappointing. I had hoped to buy Bella’s bones from there for many years but now I will never be back. Thank you Matt for explaining the ‘all good’ response but as you threw the bones in the bin without checking them, it doesn’t tell me how this happened. As I’m closer to eighty than seventy, I never rush anywhere.

We shopped there for the first time recently - on the way home to Sydney. Their sausages are delicious and lamb chops divine. Another reason to visit the beautiful southern highlands.

Dropped in on Friday as a new resident to the Highlands. The first thing we always try from a new butcher are their crumbed lamb cutlets. Excellent. Thick juicy and lamby with a good crumb. Felt like a traditional butcher from days gone by.

The quality of the meat here is exceptional, and the prices are very reasonable. The staff is also incredibly good.

Fantastic meat and a great selection. Parking is easy as well, we have recently changed butchers to here and their meat is top notch!
