Whilst you may need to take out a small mortgage to shop here it’s worth it! Always my first stop when I land in Perth. The array of options, the quality of the food and wine is second to none! This one stop shop has the best butcher, a seafood shop, delicious ready made take away meals (the beef brisket rolls were stand out!). A wall dedicated to cheese & a wine room (& bar upstairs). It’s just a great experience shopping here!

Boatshed Market is an amazing store and have everything you need. The staff are very nice and ready to assist when needed. Although on some beverage hot drinks options can be a bit pricey, everything else is worth it.

You'd expect the food quality here to be good, but unfortunately that wasn’t the case. Bought a piece of cheese that had clearly gone bad. It smelled strongly of ammonia and tasted extremely bitter. I went back to the shop with the cheese, explained the issue to the deli staff and asked for a refund. Also mentioned that the cheese should not be sold anymore. The deli stuff asked me to swap it with another one (no refund, no free swap, I also need to pay for it). Why on the earth would I buy another one??? Very disappointing experience, not recommend and won’t go back.

Great place to visit. The prepared food is very well presented. Perhaps somewhat overpriced but the helpings are generous and the quality is high. Not sure if it's standard procedure but the meals we all got were under seasoned...no salt. Food is never as nice when the salt is added after. It really would raise the level with some more seasoning. The selection of cheeses is really impressive and there is a good selection of olives, etc for making great platters. Nice butchers and seafood. The wine loft has some great wines, some of them perhaps a little pricey for many. The teppanyaki bar is a great addition. All the staff were very pleasant and keen to help. Well done everyone.

Exceptional quality that never fails to impress. I have loved the Boatshed for decades, and it remains hands down one of the best fresh food markets in Perth. The variety across every aisle is top-tier: The Cheese & Deli Counter: Their dairy and deli spread is genuinely unmatched—crammed with remarkable regional and imported treats you won't spot anywhere else. Fresh Produce & Bakery: The fruit and veg are reliably crisp, colorful, and chosen with obvious pride. Combined with their handcrafted loaves and morning baked goods, it’s a real highlight every time I drop in. Prepared Meals & Express Bites: Their daily takeaway choices and prepared dishes are a total lifesaver when you're after delicious, high-grade food without the fuss. Floral Station: The flower arrangements are consistently gorgeous, packed with fresh, long-lasting blooms that give the store such a welcoming feel. The staff are always warm, accommodating, and eager to lend a hand. I thoroughly enjoy meandering along the aisles to spot whatever new artisan goods or local specialty items they’ve added to the shelves. While it’s undeniably a luxury shopping spot and not the bargain option in town, the superior quality of the produce genuinely reflects the price tag. A true Perth institution!
