  I first experienced the Barbaro Brothers many years ago at my football club where the Barbaro boys would set up and cook up their quality meats solely to raise money for either the colts team or any player injured encountering financial difficulties. Today not only do I continue to purchase my meats from Barbaro Brothers, my now grown up children see and realise why the difference in quality on offer compared to the mega meat vendors. I cannot stress the excellence of their products. Well done Barbaro Brothers!&

  Barbaro Brothers have been our local butcher for years and they never fail with their product and their exemplary service. We just love their smallgoods, including their cacciatore, salamis and my favourite, mortadella. The mortadella is silky and smooth, with the delicate spices being subtle, and also rich without being overwhelming. It is so full of flavour.

  It was some time ago I was fixated on the lamb & mint sausages. I’m not even sure if Barbaros still make these. Any of the productsI purchase from Barbaros is 💯 fresh and delicious. The friendly staff even help me out with some muslin cloth for hangis 🫶🏻

  I’ve been coming to Barbaros for a few years now and have always enjoyed the quality. Recently, though, I’ve noticed a drop in consistency. In particular, the scotch fillets ($62.99/kg) I’ve noticed they are using meat glue. It gives the impression that the product may have been altered or modified compared to what was previously offered. Hopefully the quality returns to what it once was.

  Barbaro Bros Smallgoods is an absolute standout — their products are next‑level delicious! If you love incredible smallgoods, Barbaro Bros is a must‑visit. Every time we go, we’re blown away by the quality, flavour, and sheer pride that goes into everything they make, we have been a customer since 2002. The chorizo is phenomenal — bold, smoky, perfectly spiced, and packed with flavour. It transforms any dish and is just as irresistible straight from the pan. Easily some of the best chorizo you’ll find anywhere. The prosciutto is pure heaven. Silky, delicate, beautifully cured, and full of that authentic, melt‑in‑your‑mouth goodness. It feels like something you’d be served in a little Italian village — absolutely divine. Barbaro Bros is one of those rare places where everything tastes handcrafted with care. The quality is exceptional, the flavors are unforgettable, and it’s always a joy to shop there. Highly, highly recommended.
