This was my first paddock to plate experience! The team at Wonthaggi Meats made the whole experience so easy. They took the time to guide me through every step, answered all my questions, and made sure I understood the process from start to finish. Everything was bagged/boxed, perfectly labelled & packed on trays (they offer a few options trays/bags/vac seal etc.) in exactly the right portion sizes to my liking, making it so convenient once I got it home. They were very knowledgeable about cuts/what was best to use in sausages & offered all possible options/cuts. They even helped carry everything out to my car, which was above and beyond. The customer service was exceptional, and nothing was too much trouble. If you're looking for a butcher to process your own livestock, I couldn't recommend Wonthaggi Meats highly enough. We also buy from the shop often and they have really great deals on their specials board! And all the meat is exceptional quality! Thank you for making my first experience such an easy and positive one! We had chops & snags for dinner and it was amazing 😁

Had a wonderful experience! The butcher that serviced me was so friendly, helpful, and unbelievably patient even with my multiple requests. I would 10000% recommend and will definitely be making the travel to come back! Thanks for the pork hock!!

The leg of lamb i bought was so fresh. Sausages are the best in town. So flavoursome. Unbeatable quality meat. Genuine & helpful service.

I need 4 chicken thick fillets on the bone w skin so mick has cut open 2 whole chooks to cut what I need for a dinner party. Mick and his team listen to what you’re doing and accomodate. Great service and excellent quality meat.

I’m new to the district and yes the meat is of high quality and the service is 5star+. In fact the the sirloin I’ve bought on few occasions was the the best I’ve ever had (high marble).
