I’m originally from Germany, and it’s quite difficult to find pork shoulder on the bone here. I specifically pre-ordered a Schäufala, and the result was outstanding. The quality is excellent and the price is unbeatable. On top of that, the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly know their craft. Highly recommended – I’ll definitely be back!

Went into Deakin Butcher thinking I was there for the meat, but the real attraction is Keeble, the cleaner. I've genuinely never seen someone mop a floor with such commitment. I'm pretty sure the tiles are now cleaner than my dinner plates at home. I accidentally looked down and could see my future in the reflection. At one point he swept the floor so perfectly I swear the dust apologised and walked itself into the bin. I dropped a crumb just to see what would happen. Before it even hit the ground, Keeble had somehow already cleaned it up. I'm convinced he can hear dirt from three suburbs away. The place is so spotless I reckon you could perform open-heart surgery next to the sausage display without anyone batting an eyelid. Forget Employee of the Month—give the bloke a ceremonial golden mop and the keys to the building. If Keeble ever takes a day off, I'm not sure the laws of hygiene will survive. Would absolutely return. The meat was good too... but I mainly came to admire the floor.

Top notch service and Meat. Caters from anywhere between a couple of chops and sausages to full station orders for harvest. Absolute quality

Had a chance to put the 2 huge ribeye on the Webber tonight. Have to say it was the best steak we have ever had. Tender and full of flavour. Oh, the cabana was pretty bloody good as well. Thanks Butcher on Deakin. Great meat and great service!
