  I’ve been coming to Glenferrie Gourmet Meats since I was a little kid, and somehow it just keeps getting better every year. The quality here is consistently incredible — everything is fresh, delicious, and clearly made with care. The sausages are absolutely packed with flavour and easily some of the best you’ll find anywhere. And the nuggies… oh, the nuggies. A genuine childhood favourite that I still can’t resist to this day. (Even if I’ve never once managed to guess the price correctly all these years later.) The prices are more than fair for the quality you get, and the service is phenomenal every single time. Friendly, welcoming, and the kind of place that remembers its customers. Could not recommend this place enough. Easily the best butcher in town.

  ORDERED: 1 chicken nugget ($4.12) REVIEW: If you guess the weight of the chicken nugget (to 2 decimal points) you get to walk away with it for free! Otherwise, you're paying for how much it weighs 🤭. Crispy coating, juicy nuggets, warm bites - you're in heaven. Definitely worth stopping by for a snack if you're in the area.

  The hype for this place is real. The chicken nuggets are hot, crunchy, and juicy, simple but done really well, with a crisp coating that hits the spot. What made the experience even better was the friendliness of the staff. I loved the fun novelty of guessing the price and was lucky enough to get it right, which scored me a free nugget. Great service, great snacks, and an easy go to when you’re after something quick and satisfying. I’d happily return.

  Worth all the hype and more. Friendliest staff always serving you with a smile, know all their regulars and produce high quality meat. Not to mention the chicken nuggets - I always get them me when I’m in the area and not once has it disappointed. Just incredible.

  Excellent chicken nuggets, even better sausages and enormously nice and generous employees. I've been recommended the sausages and was sceptical if they could really be that good, but what can I say? I'm from Germany, I've been in Poland, so I've had a few great bangers in my life, but the lamb and chili cheese sausages from this place just blew my mind. Go to this place if you can!
