Asked the butcher to cut my whole chicken into eights. The girl who was working on Friday seventh of August was unbelievably rude and cut the chicken so poorly that the only clean pieces were the two wings and two drumsticks the breasts and the thighs were absolutely disgusting not cleaned off the carcass. In fact, one whole breast was still attached to the carcass, even though I specifically said I did not want the carcass. I cannot understand how they have such incompetent staff that don’t know how to properly cut a chicken so that it’s not dog food. I’ve had to clean up the mess and go to Cannings in Malvern, where they do know how to cut a chicken correctly into eight clean pieces perhaps this store would benefit for some further training.

I was a regular customer and usually the service is really good. Today I met a young lady working on Saturday between 5-6pm. She responses to the question I ask poorly and doesn't have a service mind. She acted annoyed as answering it.

We’ve been customers since they opened and I have to say I am extremely impressed with the quality! Whether it were lamb ribs, ribeye steaks, scotch fillets or their amazing Toulouse sausages, we have so far never been disappointed. Top grade butcher with super friendly service!

I ordered a whole Turkey 7-8 kilos due to the number of people I have coming for lunch. When I collected it I was told it is only 6.7 kilos and that it was weighed when frozen, so weighs less when thawed. That is rubbish, allowance should be made for this so that I get what I ordered. I now have to source more Turkey meat to feed my guests. You have lost a customer with me, I will not be buying from Cannings again.

I’m a regular customer and usually have a pleasant experience here. However, when I I appreciate the owner’s quick response and willingness to investigate the matter. As a regular customer, I’m happy to update my review and hope future visits reflect the high standards of the business
