  Quality, variety, professional and with that home-town, local friendliness. My friend invited me up to her house for a visit so that her hubby can cook us some American-style burgers; he's from Chicago where burger-lore is deep and serious. She said, "I'll provide the fixins, you get the patties down in Highton." I knew exactly where she meant: WHAT'S FOR DINNER? While I only got a sixpack of burger patties there were so many more quality, colourful, shapely meats. I took lots of photos for future reference. My friend's hubby, he took a humble Aussie barbcue on his back porch and turned it into a American machine. To be honest, I took one in the burger with cheese and one on the outside, cheeseless, just to savour his cooking and also take in the burger itself. And friends, that burger on the side was sooooo good (so much so that the one leftover I cooked at home and you can admire it in the videos and pics).

  Meat is good quality but it's quite expensive. Of course, like everyone, I'd prefer to get my meat at the butcher rather than the supermarket, but $30 for one steak is the same as a restaurant meal..🤷🏽‍♂️

  Very clean, high quality butcher shop, huge range of house made gourmet sausages on offer, plenty of variety across all types of meat, cuts, flavours and presentation, honestly one of the best butchers I've come across, only been once as its out of our direct area but very impressive range, wish I lived closer because this would be an awesome local spot for your weekly meat shopping

  Excellent quality!! I’ve been a restaurant chef for many years and these guys are fantastic! Great butchers!!

  Never again. Our family has spent $$$ here over the years but my wife was recently yelled at by one of their older guys when she came in 5 minutes before closing and asked politely for some minced chicken. If they couldn't be bothered at end of day the right answer was to at least be polite. It's a pity, as quality is quite good but they're not the only butcher in town...
