People reviews are crazy on this, I get my meat here every week from steaks and snitzles to chops and mince and I have never had a problem with the quality. The staff are amazing and always helpfull

Bought two kilos of lean mince for $35. When I started to cook it, it was full of water and the meat was full of fat. I will never recommend buying meat or for that matter any products from this butcher.

Bought a whole chicken here today. Took it out of its wrapping and it smelled like bleach/chlorine mixed with rancid meat. Straight in the bin, what a waste of money. Buyer beware.

I grabbed two kebab-looking items from the tray marked $10 each. One of them was totally off—smelled awful when I unpacked it. The other one tasted great. This is actually the second time I’ve been sold old meat here. The first time I let it slide, thinking it was just a one-off, but it happened again today. Usually there’s a lovely lady who serves with a smile, but today a male staff member was there. I waited a bit and then politely said, “Excuse me, could you please serve me?” He rolled his eyes at me and asked the other staff member who was also cutting meat to serve me. I get that he was busy cutting meat, but I was just trying to get his attention respectfully.

Bought a single chicken Kiev here this afternoon - it smelt yuck when I took it out of the bag, I cooked it anyway as it was $9 and ate a little - when I hit the butter it was obviously rancid - it's been about 3 hours and I'm feeling particularly nauseaus - luckily new hospital is only a 2 minute walk away
