  Honestly, where do I start? The team at A Cut Above Quality Meats are truly next level living up to their name in every sense. We use Luke and the team for all of the meat across our restaurants, including shanks, steaks, chicken, and more. Week after week, they consistently deliver exceptional quality at a very reasonable price. As a seafood restaurant owner, I can tell you what fish tastes like, where it's caught, and how best to prepare it. When it comes to beef, all I really knew was it comes from a cow and scotch fillet was probably the best cut. That's where Luke's expertise has been invaluable. Not only has he taken the time to explain the different cuts and which ones work best for our menu and cooking style, but he's also helped me understand how proteins and enzymes break down during different cooking methods to maximise flavour and tenderness. That knowledge has directly contributed to the quality of the dishes we're able to serve our customers time and time again. On the retail side, whenever I'm in East Devonport, I make a point of stopping in. Their range is incredible, and the variety they offer is unlike anything you'd expect from a traditional butcher shop. Forget your average butcher these guys are operating on another level. It's a trip across the bridge that I'd happily make again and again just to buy my meat from them. Are there other butcher shops in Devonport? Sure. But in my experience, it's not even close. The professionalism, product knowledge, range, and quality that Luke and the team provide make them the clear standout. Whether you're a business looking for a reliable supplier or simply someone who appreciates a great cut of meat, I couldn't recommend A Cut Above Quality Meats more highly.

  Honestly there's nothing better than going Inta shop that is absolutely spotless the beef swags are the best I've had there meat is perfect and presentation meets every expectation
