Just wow! I stopped in to buy premium mince for the doggy (best you can get) and grabbed a couple of lamb shanks and two shepherds pie sausages. The shanks were superb, slow cooked in cast iron, so much better than those I’ve had lately. But the sausages! Cooked in the oven, served with a bit of mash, peas and gravy, were a taste sensation! Can’t recommend them enough! I’ll be back soon 😋 The photo’s aren’t glamorous I’m afraid but best lamb shanks around and try these snags!!

Called in to this butchery today on our way home to Adelaide. We bought loads of goodies - gourmet sausages and beef rissoles. Oh my… we ate the rissoles tonight and honestly are the best we’ve ever had - no fat and bursting with flavour! Really glad we bought a dozen as they are delicious! Looking forward to trying the other things we have bought! Thank you for our midweek deliciousness -,we’ll be back!

I'm truly not exaggerating when I say "Small Good Things Community Butcher and Providore" is overall the best experience I have ever had at a butcher. The owner Kyle is very warm and kind, he is very knowledgeable and is obviously extremely passionate about his craft, which speaks for itself through his products. I'm so impressed by the level of time and care Kyle has put into sourcing his meat from clean local farms with humane practices with an amazing food miles scale of 2-60km! I am so delighted that for the first time in my life going to butchers I'm not made to feel like an inconvenience when asking for no plastic! Better yet I don't feel the slightest bit guilty in my shopping experience. There's no need to ask for no plastic anyway as Kyle wraps most of his products in recyclable materials even down to the tape! So so impressed thank you Kyle, definitely support this family owned and new local business!! :)

I’ve shopped at Kyle’s butchery maybe a dozen times since opening and have been impressed every time. Today we purchased the new Beef, Cheddar, Dill Pickle sausages. They are the biggest (wet) sausages I have ever seen. For the first time in my life, I cut sausages vertically and into 1cm thick slices (4cm diameter) to build two sausage sandwiches from one snag. A standing ovation please. Once again, delicious sausages, creative recipes and a perfect fat ratio. Using everything of the animal from nose to tail, Kyle is an outstanding butcher. Passion, creativity and sustainability drives his business model. Support this small family-owned business if you’re able.
