Just came back from Loxton. Had some awesome porterhouse steaks and bbq snags for tea the other night on the BBQ at Loxton CP. Dropped in on our way home from a lovely holiday. Purchased, Porterhouse steaks, T-bones, minced beef, bacon, chicken Mignons, lamb loin chops, bbq snags, chicken n bacon snags, continental snags and a stick of German metwurst. Highly recommended this place for quality meats, freshness and price. The staff were awesome.

A group of five, we stayed at Loxton last week in a holiday home for a family funeral. We decided to enjoy a BBQ together on the first night & eat out on the second. Nope, after enjoying the incredible products from this wonderful butcher we dined in both nights. Their gourmet sausages, patties, kebabs and shaslicks were fresh, tender and absolutely delicious. We even made room in our cooler bag so we could stock up and take a supply home. We froze most of it, and can't wait to christen my new Weber GA grill in style. We love visiting the Riverland and now we have another excuse for a road trip, next time with a large, empty esky! Also, the friendly, helpful country service was great. We had a great chat with the lady (didn't get her name) on the first day, and with Ashley on our way home. Both were engaging, funny and informative of their products. Their passion for what they do was obvious. If ever you are in or passing through Loxton, do not miss the opportunity to visit & stock up at this wonderful butcher.

THE best sausages. Every time I drive from Melbourne to the Riverland I come with an empty esky and go home happy as Larry! I have tried the ‘apparent’ best in Melbourne and they could learn a lot from you.

Thanks Hygenic Meats again for very good quality meat for our golfing group on Monday. The T bones especially were much appreciated.
