I don't know exactly how you make a butcher worse than just buying meat from a supermarket, all i can assume is the blame is on the rent of being in a shopping center, but I am constantly disappointed with the quality of the products here. Steak and roast cuts are ok (i mean how do you mess that up) But everything else like sausages, mignons, diced meat and crumb schnitzels etc.. are just disappointing. I'm convinced their meat to fat ratio used in the sausages are 50+% fat with the amount that either drips off in the BBQ or pools in the pan. It's such an effort to get the crumb to stay on while cooking schnitzels and when it's not a steak cut the quality of the meat just isn't the same. you honestly get better quality at woolworths next door. Tried to give these guys a go but just can't support this anymore, I don't have these issues with other butchers products or supermarkets... I now either go to Tavern Meats or Riverway Meats which are leagues better in quality and price, and I recommend anyone else in the area do the same because i want to support the independent butchers we have..

started buying variety of meat from you just mainly convience with shop at willows. cooked up some mint and rosemary lamb chops. Ive never had so much flavour all the way to the end. The crumb steak is always gorgeous and consitant. Mince is light and fat free. Well done guys. Would love to see some more pork steaks. cheers

Very unhappy with the product I was given today. I asked for minced lamb, and they didn't have any, which was understandable. It's not something that people would often buy. I was making kofta and asked the butcher if he could recommend something that I could mince at home in a food processor. What I got was sinew. I paid $15 for half a kilo of I don't know what.

Bought chicken wings on Friday afternoon, butcher had to go and open a 'new box's. Opened the bag 9am Sunday morning to rancid chicken.

my experience at the willows store is awesome, the guys go out of there way to help with your order. The guys ring me when they got the sausages in stock, the prices are in par with other store around the area.
