We stopped by Quilpie Butchery during our visit to town and were very impressed. The service was friendly and welcoming, and it was clear that quality products are important to the business. We purchased several different sausages, including beef sausages and country-style sausages, and cooked them later that evening. They were excellent and quickly became one of the highlights of our dinner. The shop had the feel of a traditional country butcher, with good products and friendly service that made us feel welcome as visitors to the area. If you are passing through Quilpie and looking for quality meat for the barbecue, campfire or campervan kitchen, Quilpie Butchery is well worth a visit. We would happily stop here again on a future trip.

We stocked up on our way through and boy do we wish we got more. It was by far the best meat, kabana, salami, crumbed lamb chops, schnitzels, mince, sausages, the dogs loved the mince and bolar roast. A must stop if you’re in Quilpie. Thanks so much!

Some of the best meats we have come across in our travels. Beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. And not over priced. The rump steak exceptional, breakfast sausages very tasty and hardy any fat. Mince, chicken skewers and sliced ham all top quality. Challenge anyone to find a better quality offer than the Quilpie Butchery. Well done Cam and team.

I've visited the Quilpie butcher many times on our outback travels, today was no exception, the meat is always the highest quality. We bought some crumbed pork as well as other cuts, but my wife and I agreed that it was the BEST crumbed anything we had ever eaten, tender, juicy and flavoursome. Don't ever leave Quilpie without visiting the butcher. Ten out of ten. Can't wait to sample the steaks, sausages, lamb chops and bacon on the way home.

Was recommended to us by the staff at The Lake where we stayed and we weren't disappointed. Locally sourced meat and produced on-site.
