I now understand why this store is always empty. Went in for a frenched lamb rack for three people. The only option available was prepackaged racks of four (two sets per pack). I asked if I could buy three racks instead. You would’ve thought I asked to borrow his car. The attitude was rude and unnecessary. Since I had guests on the way, I didn’t have time to leave. The butcher removed one rack from the package, didn’t rewrap it, didn’t package it properly, just placed it on top of the remaining pack, weighed both together, dumped them in a bag and handed it over. If that’s the hygiene and care shown in front of customers, it makes you wonder what goes on out the back. Bad service. Bad attitude. Won’t be back

Always good quality meat, great service and a better price then the Supermarkets.

I got some gravy beef that smelled so bad I just dropped it in the bin as it came. The chicken thigh wasn't as clean as it was supposed to be, and it was frozen, so the guy ripped it apart with no gloves. After that, I saw the ranking here and understood why. The prices aren't a big deal as well.

I got beef sausages today & I must say they were very nice. Very little fat came out when cooked & not salty & very reasonable price. The man that served me was a very friendly with a smile. Good on you & I will be spreading the word. 👍🏻

Have gone here a few times usually no complaints as never met owner. He is taking advantage of egg shortage charging 23 for eggs on meat purchase. I am all for supporting small businesses and local butchers but personally see why there is a help wanted poster in the windows. He started snapping about the eggs when going to buy some and I put them back to be followed by a tanty. So want eggs go to corner store down the road or fertilise one be cheaper.
