  Thank you so much, Meat City! I was so excited to win the $100 voucher. The redemption process was quick and easy, and all the staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful.   A great alternative to the major players in the supermarket industry and thank you for stocking fruit, vege, meat cuts and seafood that are so hard to find! To those complaining about rancid food, try using your eyes to look at the use by date and the colour/condition of the produce, your nose to smell it and your touch to feel and check for blemishes and general condition. If unsure, here's a thought, don't buy it! We buy the bulk grass fed rump and rib fillet and process the meat ourselves at home into sausages, steak, beef strips and mince. The fat we render down into tallow and use to roast veges, for skin care and to oil our cast iron items. Enough to feed a family of 3 teenagers and 2 adults for a month. To those who want to understand the area the beast is from, there is a number on the packaging. Look up the number and it will show you the abattoir where the beast was processed. Great choice of fresh seafood too! You need to be early to get the pick of it. For the fruit and veg if something is on sale then it's probably going to need to be processed or preserved when you get it home. It is a treat to pick up a rockmelon and for it to actually smell sweet and ripe. Love the deli items and the Greek yoghurt too. The garlic salami and Greek feta are a favourite in our house. Only place that I know of where a loaf of fresh bread is $2 too! To the staff, keep doing what you're doing and never mind the complainers. You can't please everyone and honestly they should be shopping else where.
