  On a recent Saturday morning, I went to the Rocklea Weekend Markets. Parking inside was scarce so we had to look elsewhere. As fate would have it, we found a park outside the doors of Rocklea Meat Market. I hadn't settled on a local butcher so I was curious about the meats and other products they are offering. What a pleasant surprise! These guys have it all! Meats galore, both fresh and frozen. Seasoning, wood chips for BBQs, sauces and a ton more. Are you interested in whole lamb or hogs? They have you covered. They even rent the grills to support your outdoor extravaganza! But what is the thing that is top of mind for most shoppers these days? Prices! Their prices are outstanding! The thing that I really like about small local businesses is the attention that they give to each customer! Whenever I need to stock up on meats, I head over to Rocklea Meat Market to fill my fridge! Your family will thank you if you do the same!

  Rocklea Meat Markets provide excellent service, with exceptional meat at very affordable prices. Their specials are excellent value and their meat is grass fed with amazing flavour and quality. They stand by their meat. I am on the carnivore Lions diet and source most of my meat from Rocklea. I recommend Rocklea Meat Markets to anyone who enjoys quality meats.

  The butcher guys are so friendly, so helpful and knowledgeable on the products they sell. They explain the particular cut of meat, how to cook it to get the best flavour. The shop Is so clean and bright. They sell sauce, spices and many other condiments. They have chicken, meat, skewered meat that were marinated ready to cook. Best butcher in town Parking is easy

  Bought 20kg Tbones that they said were export quality on a sale drove over 1.5 hours each way to collect I’m extremely disappointed firstly I asked they be cut medium and they are mostly super thick and a few super thin ?! And they are really tough and horrible with heaps Of sinew running through them not enjoyable at all .. Be very careful what you buy here if it sounds to good to be true then it is .. also most the t- bones were missing the eye fillet side which was also a disappointment for 20kg worth !

  Finally we found a good butcher. We were sick and tired of paying for the second rate meat at the local big chain supermarket stores and there are no decent butchers left in our local area. Rocklea Meat Market is worth the drive for us to get top quality meat at prices as good or better than the local supermarkets. There’s a huge range including frozen seafood and some game meats too.
