Hey guys, came in on Friday arvo to get some shaved ham. Unfortunately the girl that served us didn't seem to know what " shaved" meant and sold us slices about 2 mm thick. I don't mind thicker slices, however your staff needs a little more training to cater for requests like mine, if in doubt....ask a colleague. Plus the the ham is a little too salty for my taste buds. Sorry. Your beer sticks on the other hand are off the charts incredible, really scrumptious. Just keepin' it real. We'll be back though to try your other goodies.😊 Came in this afternoon, 17/2/26, and requested thinly sliced ham. The gentleman behind the counter did a great job at asking me how thin I wanted it and showed me the first slice...it was perfect. Thanks for paying attention. Update 26/2/26: This butcher is off the charts amazing, said ham not only comes thinly sliced now, but the slightly overly salty taste is gone too. Amazing job guys. Your produce is worth every cent. Love your work.

Got recommended to Allora Butchery from Petch at Montrose Farm Stay. Andrew from the butcher was helpful and even dropped our rib fillet and jalapeno sausages down at the pub for us as we were coming back after closing. The rib fillet cooked up very nicely. Greta country butcher.

I have travelled every state and territory of Australia over the last decade and the Allora Butchery produces the best sausages I have had anywhere. It's always a nice thing to hit a small town butcher up for some protein to fill up the kids, but this particular butchery is something special. I'm glad we filled the freezer when we had the opportunity!

Aaron and his team are great. His meat is excellent 👌 coming from a cattle property I am very particular about my meat! No buying from Woolworths or Coles for this family. His bacon and smallgoods are to die for. All our friends go back with his meat.
