well stocked local butcher. Got a 2.8kg dry aged standing beef roast.freshly cut and the butcher clean it all up very nicely for us. All ready to go. I didn’t ask but in assuming it is grass fed beef. See attached before and after photos. Would come back here again. 🥩

My family & I wanted to experiment with our new BBQ smoker. Jason the owner provided us with an affordable, quality beef Rib. He advised us with the methods of cookery. We ended up with an exceptional dinner! That was above & beyond our expectations! I encourage buyers seek advice from the staff at the pickled pig! Affordable price and next level quality! Nice butcher and products. Terribly cut T-bone steaks though. All unevenly cut meaning you won’t get an even cook. Girl at the counter doesn’t appreciate the customer asking for steaks that have been cut straight either.

What can I say... if your after quality meat... go straight to The Pickled Pig Butchery 🐖 Cessnock... NOW AT WESTON... the shop is huge, the value is great, the meat is top notch.. I bought a side of scotch today, complimentary cutting, a marinated pork porterhouse steak - plum sauce... some lamb shanks, a kilo of bacon recommended by the friendly staff, some Asian style noodles and delicious corn chips.... im so excited they have moved to a bigger location - its not just meat, so go check it out... congratulations to all staff & butchers, great job..... 👍 A+++++

Great prices, and really helpful and honest staff. Bought a few pre-packed steaks yesterday and opened them today to find that they’d started to smell - took them in and the butcher gave a refund and fixed some new steaks straight away. Love the service and the great quality meats.
