Guy sold me this product $16 (ticket said $12) and told me it’s hard to find anywhere else. I get that Woolworths is a big company but $5 mark up is a bit much (not on sale it’s $11)

One of the best in Sydney. Owner is amazing, staff are fantastic and produce is excellent.

Christmas the owner Minky/Minki delivered Crayfish to my door. Ok you get what you pay for… she didn’t charge me. However, she owns a shop in Balmain and one is Mosman. Can you imagine how hard… the stress? I would shop daily but no dogs allowed! Just phoned Balmain… I know they will look after me. ❤️

Shopped here on New Year’s Eve morning so maybe we got the last of the sell by date stuff but across 4 types of meat, all seemed to be going bad by the time we got it home. It was really expensive, and nothing was worth it. I also find it quite pressurised as a customer to choose the items you want and the body language and tone of the person serving me seemed annoyed with me for deliberating for a few seconds. One was the yakitori butterflied chicken, it tasted so weird and over salted, and cooked really dry like it was previously smoked. I’m guessing it was past its best and they are trying to disguise it.

Live nearby so this is my closest butcher. I only go in when in a rush but each time i’m disappointed. Meat is more expensive than butchers within a short drive - understandable Balmain tax. What isn’t acceptable though is how rude the staff are. If you don’t want to be there then get a job elsewhere, don’t take out your misery on the customer.
