Hudsons Meats are the best. Always fresh and tasty. Everything from a whole lamb that we have had for Christmas to pork shoulders and chickens is amazing not to mention the invaluable tips. I even bought bones from a 5 year old jersey cow to make my own stock (delicious) and tallow which I used to make the most delicious roast potatoes. Even the humble mince is the best. Colin, Anna and all the staff are so welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. The quality of the produce makes my husband and I look like stars when we cook at our place for others. Highly recommend.

Just received my Xmas ham and it looks spectacular! I haven’t tried it yet but the ordering and delivery process was easy. It also comes with a Ham Bag which is a useful addition. ***Update*** The ham was delicious, one of the best I’ve had. Definitely worth the money.

Up until today, the quality of every cut of meat, every type of meat I've bought here has been excellent, regardless of when I visited. However, the rump steak I purchased today tasted stale meat and had an unpleasant flavor. When I got home, I noticed the meat looked quite dark, so it may have been stale a bit. I couldn’t finish the meat because of the taste so I decided to throw all of rump away even though I paid more than 50$…(sirloin looks good so I’ll eat only them) From now on, I'll make sure to check the actual quality of the meat on display rather than just choosing by the type of meat I have in my mind. I should’ve gotten only sirloin or and scotch fillet as it looked good as always…waste of money😢

Very disappointed in the quality. I purchased an eye fillet roll at top price and it had been all glued together. I expected much better from a premium butcher.
