I think its a lottery buying from these guys. Bought scotch fillets before and they were great. Thia time bought a rump cap and there was something night right about it. I thought oh well and got some scotch fillets, i thought they were a bit small but they were vacuumed sealed. When i got them out they had no spinalis..the best bit. Cooked them and spat them out, the taste didnt even resemble a steak. I asked my son to taste them and he said there is something not right about them. Gave them to our dogs. Lamb kofyas were fine though. Update: sure enough the chicken wingettes we put in the freezer after buying were also off. My theory is they were a victim of the recent blackout we had in Richmond. Surely the would have had someone check if what they were delling was fit for human consumption. I will never buy from them again.

Great prices. Amazing quality. Walk in friendly. We often can't get some of our staple meats such as minced pork and chicken breast though. Makes it a bit harder to bulk shop when they're often low on some stock. They supply to Chopped Butcher, so most of the meat here is cheaper than the local butcher but not as cheap as woolies. Though quality of the meat is incredible compared to woolies. The sausages actually taste like sausage. The chicken has hardly any fat on it. The burger patties are the best you can get outside of a burger restaurant. They also have some frozen foods (chips, nuggets, fish) and a good range of seasoning, sauces and butcher accessories.

New customer. Looked online to find good quality meats at a decent price point. These guys had great reviews and an extensive range. Free delivery with orders over $150. I eat a lot of lean mince so ordered 10kg worth, took price from $19.99 a kg to $13.50 a kg with bulk purchase. Gave 3kg to my brother, cooked up 2kg and frozen the rest. Also ordered 2 x 1kg bag of nuggets for kids. They even had a new customer promotion going where I also got 1 kilo of marinated beef and pork meat balls for free. They tasted amazing, wife was impressed too, will definitely grab some more on next order. They do their own deliveries too, meaning that their is greater care with deliveries in their refrigerated trucks. The meats delivered were fresh and tasted great. Looking forward to our next order.

Bought several lots of the 'T Bone's' July/Aug 2026. The meatballs were good too. Now I'm trying the Ribeye. Thank you SWMeats!
