We’re so grateful to have Tenambit Butchery providing fresh meat to the local area. Every visit is a pleasure thanks to the genuinely friendly service from Rod and Tanya and the rest of the team. They always greet you with a smile and go above and beyond to help. The quality of the meat is second to none – fresh, well-cut, and consistently delicious. We’ve picked up everything from New York steaks and pork to chicken thighs, chicken strips, and eggs, and it’s all been top-notch. The New York steaks in particular are always a standout. It’s clear the team take pride in their work and care about their customers. Whether you’re planning a family BBQ or just doing the weekly shop, this place never disappoints. Highly recommended to anyone in or around Tenambit. Support this fantastic local business – you won’t be disappointed!

A long standing icon in the Maisie Street shops in Tenambit. The meat is always fresh & of a high quality. If the meat is not cut the way you like it just talk to the happy & willing staff. A traditional butchers shop.

Have not lived in Maitland for 6 years and still get my sausages from this butchers-visitors must bring some with them when they visit.

I was recommended by a friend to try tenambit butchery. Imagine my disappointment when asking for a piece of meat that I could cut, coincidentally with a knife that is advertised next to their site on facebook. The staff told me that I would be better going out the back of my house to chop wood. I will never go back as I noticed that after taking our money they put their hands back on the meat without washing their hands. Make sure you cook your meat well if you are brave enough to buy this meat! Personally I find the hand hygiene disgusting!!!

Tenambit Butchery is worth making the trip. They have a great selection of meat and it’s all top shelf. We’ve tried just about everything on offer and have never been disappointed. Not to mention it’s a family run small business and the team is great. Definitely buy your meat here.
