We like to support country butchers and bakers as we travel around Australia so bought some snags and veal schnitzels. Unfortunately the schnitzels were probably the toughest we have ever had an no they weren't over cooked, hopefully this was unusual for the shop. Haven't cooked the snags yet but sure they will be great. Sorry for the honest review.

Hot damn! We passed through Howlong and stopped to grab some snags for dinner. They were the best jalapeño and cheese snags we’ve ever had! Actually, best sausage ever. Meat texture was on point and not over salted like a lot of other snags we’ve had recently. Will be back if passing through again. Great job guys!

We were staying at Howlong for a couple days and I bought some meat from the butchers. The rump steak was large enough for 2 meals and it was so tender. I had to buy a couple of T Bones and another piece of rump before leaving Howlong.

Just purchased 18 oysters and a chicken and prawn mignon from Howlong Butchers. Couldn't wait, so had an entree of 6 oysters, followed by the mignon which came on its own oven-proof tray. OMG, absolutely delicious. Very, very highly recommended

We were travelling through, needed meat so we bought some, what a great choice we made, so far we've eaten 3 different meals we bought from these guys, all top shelf, service with a smile cooking tips these guys deserve the accolades!!! Great work!!!!
