Wow! What sensational meat. We recently purchased some meat for our travels, and having now consumed it can say it is the best flavour and cooked up exceptionally well.

I made a large order days before hand, come into town it was all done and packed. Service was as good as the meat. Will be going back next time I come through.

Two days ago I asked for the best steak they had and I bought 2.6 kilo of wagu rump (only $49/kilo that is cheap!) and took it to my friends place for dinner. We all agreed it was the tenderest, tastiest, and easiest to cook perfect steak we had ever eaten. Gee it was good!!! One week later at Athol Gibson's (he won the Masterchef challenge), wood fired barbecue he cooked a banquet for 5. Accompanied by Barosa Cab.Sav.2023 fresh salad and airfryed chips (see photos). It was a night to remember better than any restaurant!! Thank you South Service Butchery. There are many good butchers in the Northern Rivers you are the best. We will repeat this again and again. Darrell Tully. This time we tried wagu fillet finished on grass from the Richmond Valley. Very nice but not a patch on Grafton wagu finished on grain. South Services Butchery is still the benchmark. My cousins said he is the best butcher in NSW. So I gave him a taste of my Australian pickled garlic and he took all I had left. I checked back a fortnight later and he said he sold the whole dozen in a week and wants two dozen now. My garlic is very popular!

It was close to closing time and most of the large cuts of steak were sold out, but this legend of a butcher goes out the back and cuts me a 480g scotch slice and the takes the time to have a friendly yarn about the day... I'm glad woolies had no eggs and one of the staff suggested I drive down to the Lou's Fresh grocery on south side. Just so happens to be a butcher a few doors down... Really made my day. I'll be back fellas...Thanks for the excellent meat, it went down a treat. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😀😀😀😀
